Her target market is adolescent African American boys and young men. In her words, she states that we have forgotten our place in history, and that can hinder how we view ourselves. It is her mission in life to bring back that missing link. Her book has been a life changer for many people of different races. During her primary research, she decided to do a timeline of Blacks and Whites, and compare their parallels throughout history. One of the most impressive things about the book by A.P. Brooks, is its massive bibliography, comprised of a whopping 13 pages. This is a must read for anyone that considers themself a member of the human race.
